Mossberg 144 22 with peep sights. My step-father bought it for me when I was 11 in 1965. Sold it 2 years ago because I could no longer use the sights and needed the money.

Marlin model 60 stainless from walmart in 1990 for about $169. Greatest .22 I've ever had the pleasure to shoot. Can't even count the number of squirrels, possums and nuisance vermin it's dispatched over the years. I look forward to passing it on to my youngest when he outgrows his crickett.
Winchester Model 190. Chokes every other round unless it's clean as a whistle!

Lol. A good friend of mine has a similar story.
I was 7 and dad gave me a Winchester M62a, pump .22. My dad bought the rifle in 1951, with the intentions of giving it to his son, me. It was a used rifle when he bought it. I learned to shoot with that rifle, and it became mine when I turned 7 in 1958. I still have it, 56 years later.
