First hand rolled rifle rounds

been reloading 9mm for a while and thought I would get into reloading rifle rounds too. Chose 300blk to start. What a pain in the butt. Anyways, fired my first rounds through it today. Very pleased. Tried 5 different loads.
Settled on 10.3gr 1680 at 2.200"
8.5" barrel with AAC 7.62SD
Disclaimer: this was at trigger time and I could only get to 35 yards and no sandbags. Just propped on my range bag.

Nice! I've started a year ago. I will never convert 223 to 300blk again. I load supersonic loads; cutting holes at 50yrd. 2200fps with 125gr Barnes ttsx.

Yep necked cases are more tedious but your efforts appear to have just rewards. Looking real good for a first attempt.

With a decent sand bagged rest and doing your part on the trigger, I bet one ragged hole with that load is not uncommon.
