First wall hanger

Got my first wall hanger this morning in Hart co. To top it all off i got him with my favorite hunting rifle that was gifted to me at 12 years old. JM marlin 35rem slinging a 200gr FTX at a whopping 15yards. Dropped in his tracks! Been hunting for 20 years and I’ve never had a opportunity like I had this morning. Goes to show you never can tell what will step out. Who out there has love for a 35? Anybody else have any firsts this season?

Thanks man I forgot to say but he has 13 points and i count them all. A friend of mine used a string and measuring tape and we came out with 129 7/8 inches. Right at 15” inside spread. I don’t know the proper scoring method but this is just for my knowledge. Unofficial score haha

Thats a stud! I killed my first with a .35 remington. Dropped him in his tracks as well at 25 yards.
