Fly Fishing Thread .....

Landed over a dozen browns yesterday , 2 large chubs and 1 little native rainbow.

fished Tallulah and Coleman River this weekend. Several nice browns and few tiny brookies...... picked up a whole lotta trash. People setting up pikniks on every sandbar and leaving tons of it. 😡
The plus is my wife got her brown and brook for her trout slam:happy:
Brookies are on my list . My son and I are going to target them next. If we get a brookie that’s all 3 species this year we will have caught.

I expected to catch them up coleman river(and did) but not off cat gap road where the water was warmer and shallow. Only one though there but the other fish were fun on the light tenkara rod. What ever species of bream this is was very feisty. And the warpaint shiners were plentiful and fun to catch. I could have filled several sardine tins full.
