Always dug Derek DeYoung’s art but couldn’t justify the prices so I gave it a whirl on my own. First time painting and I’m happy with the turnout. Used acrylic paint and it was pretty fun.

Weather permitting, I’m floating the Toccoa on the 5th. Hoping that black caddis hatch is strong.

Man, I am glad I found this thread. I've always wanted to learn how to fly fish and told myself I'd take it up when I retired. Looks like that will happen soon, so I've started reading about it. Great info here.

Only brought to net 1 rainbow , and one brown. Fished a Paul Young 7’9” boo rod - a modern maker made it .
