FN throws a huge wrench into Springfield Armory’s High Power dreams.

Over rated platform to begin with

Might be worth it if it's price competitive with the SA35.
I wouldn't pay double for ambi controls and some front strap stippling.

Edited: I scanned the QR code. No thanks.
Different barrel lockup (SIG cam style), a shoehorned in right side disassembly lever, non standard grips, "keyhole" muzzle pattern (whatever that is), minimal (if any) parts interchangeability with the extensive aftermarket, and what appears to be a giant hole in the slide where the recoil spring assembly is.
May kinda look like a Hi Power, but it ain't. FN has never made a bad gun, well maybe the FortyNine,

I agree. I don't really understand what the point of coming out with something that looks like a Hi Power, but isn't a Hi Power.

Kinda like the people wanting an accessory rail and optic mount. I don't really understand.

Kinda like a DAO 1911 in my opinion.

I really don't understand all of these clones. Highpower, SA, Girsan, FN kinda clone, etc. If you want an FN HP, buy an FN HP. They aren't that expensive nor are they all that rare. If you want a modern clone, then get one that is modernized with better materials and options.
