OK just set it to "low" and now I see from a video in settings that using multiple fingers on the touchpad brings up different options and executes different commands. WTH?
Ugh.... just going to have to get better about having an actual mouse I guess.

I have a Win10 box, and now that you mention it I've never noticed the setting for "Leave touchpad on when a mouse is connected".
You can adjust sensitivity to "Most sensitive", "High", "Medium", and "Low".
I also usually disable most of the touchpad gestures, I just prefer not having them.

Touchpad always disabled on my Compac laptop...wireless mouse used which I very much prefer.

No iAnything. These are PC laptops. Different brands (2 different Lenovos and a Dell).
