Force Multipliers, Go:

Sandbags for defensive fighting positions sure, armor absolutely, molotovs okay. Most of your other items are more just survival items. I'm thinking more, what will take a fighting force and make it more effective. One thing would be comms. Radios between all members. That would be key for directing an ambush or flanking maneuver.

Ok, I did not know what you were looking for, but do now.

1- All members on the fighting force should be wearing there fighting gear the same as possible, easier to get ammo and gear when fighting at night.
2- Cleaning Kits, AR-15's will not fire after few firefights. and people are just lazy and don't want to clean there weapons.
3- If, you can get a vehicles or forklift operators( they Will take highway barriers) and use them for your defense or can be used to Stop Vehicles or trucks from entering your safe area. I
4- Set up more than 1 supply area in case one gets overrun.
5- Set up 2 -3 Quick medical teams. You, will be SURPRISED on how many people will fight harder if they know medical people are standing by.
6- Know, your nearest Armored truck companies in your area, these could be used as your Emergency Response Teams.
7- Set up Hand and Arm signals for your guys sometimes talking will be impossible.
8- Training, Training and Training, to prevent Blue on Blue Fire. In the military we trained for this all the time and it still happened. Its, a complete morale busted when it happens!!!

How many rounds does it take before I have to worry about my AR-15 not firing?

I

It depends on what ammo your firing. But, if you really want to test your weapon fire some Blank ammo, that cheap blank powder will stop your weapon from firing in no time.
The late Pat Rogers fired almost 30.000 rounds through a BCM carbine without cleaning it. I'm no operator but I'm pretty sure a properly built rifle from a reputable maker is going to last more than a few firefights.
