a 60 hp diesel tractor makes a lot more torque than a gas 4 cyl....If I have time when I get home I can do that calcs. If I can find the info I need anyway.
60hp and 150tq (non turbo)
My cousin has a large construction company. He has a old Gradall forklift with a cummins 3.9 non-turbo, makes 80hp and about 180tq and weighs 19k lbs, watched him DRAG a 30k lb bulldozer for about 150 feet through the dirt...it's the gearing, it moves slower but multiplies power and torque. Won't do more than 2mph in 1st, but pulls almost anything.
Well, most trucks that are 4x4 and have a low/high gear selection can pull just about anything. Usually it's traction that becomes a limiting factor

I do drive a 2012 FJ Cruiser. No shame in it. Just waiting a bit longer before i install my new Demello Aluminum bumper, winch, dual battery set up and HAM radio.

Next up is a locker for the front.
