Ford Raptor - Are they really that awesome?

Man ford haters are plentiful on this site, hill I can take you to 6 ford truck/suv's in my family that have broke 200k without anything other than fluid changes, tires, brakes, and batteries.

My neighbor has a roush raptor and it's as bad ass a truck as I've seen ( he says I can drive it whenever I want but I'm afraid I'd get crazy and wind up paying for it). There's a guy in Wilmore KS with one that has over 300k miles on it and he puts over 100 miles a day on it running around working on oil pumps without any complaint (it does look like hammered turd but you'd have to understand the roads out there). As for the millage, my 09 6.0 Silverado get 13mpg no matter how I drive it or what's behind it so I personally don't consider fuel economy when buying what I drive.
I'm not a Ford guy and if I was gonna spend 65k+ it would be on something other than a ford, but I don't really care what I drive as long as I don't get left on the side of the road.

I've owned ford powerstrokes with over 500k miles one em but never a ford gas burner that made it to 250k. I have a chevy PU/ with a little 4.8 that has almost 250k and runs like it did new. My chevy 6.0 has 270k on it and still has the balls to dust most pre '06 (stock) mustangs... I've never had any luck with any gas burner dodge vehicles but my buddy in Indiana has a 2000 dodge cummings with a little over 400k on it, but he has went through 3 transmissions.
