Some of the moderating was heavy handed but we'll get it back on track, I just ask that we keep it peaceful from here on out. Moderating a site this size is not easy, especially for a staff as small as the one we have currently.

First step is to admit you have a problem, so this bodes well for this Thread--And for the Site, as a whole, too...

Only way I believe this has a fair shot:

Let geaux, ken, and joab be sole mods for klub thread.
Would solve 99 percent of issues.
Geaux is pretty level headed, ken would just as well shut it down and joab is a topic contributor and overall topic interested. Perfect trio.

This thread for one thing gives a wealth of knoledgable talk of firearms I enjoy. I read through the thread all the time, I cannot recall if I've ever posted here, but I have learned quietly without commenting. Enjoy the thread and comraderie.

I have no desire to participate in this thread. Last week, the off topic discussion of the last few pages, would have resulted in people being denied access to the thread and being banned from ODT for questioning it. Owner intervention should have happened in early September, when thread was locked and unlocked 20 times in one day and cleaned to somebody's satisfaction. The collaborative spirit of the thread was killed at that time.
This thread should be locked and kept for its advice potential, if the OG creator of the thread so desires. Any PTB reached out to him?

If you don’t want to participate then don’t, it doesn’t mean it should be closed for everyone. I can’t change the past but I’m here now. And I messaged the thread starter yesterday about keeping it open.

I actually considered the mod idea and have spoken to a couple mods about it but haven’t made a final decision yet.

You can not link ads and then trash talk them, that’s always been a rule and I can’t make an exception for this thread.
