karlvv30 , please don’t post memes with censored words in them, I missed that the first time I read it somehow. I know it seems stupid but folks with kids and coworkers looking at their screens appreciate it.
That word is normal in the English language. Do you really think kids are browsing this site or bible thumpers dont understand they may see some stuff and should scroll on by? I aint tryin to **** in your wheaties but it doesn't make much sense to run this site like we are all in middle school and our parents are watching.
I do think that actually, I’ve had plenty of people mention that exact scenario to me.
Let me ask you this, what’s the harm in keeping the main forums clean? Can you not get your point across without it?

I made that meme and completely agree with you that it's not appropriate for the general discussion area. Problem is I posted it in brackish waters, in the inappropriate meme thread where it does belong and a mod deleted for some reason. Over moderation in the brackish waters and hot topics area like that is how this craps escalates and starts spilling over into the general discussion area in my opinion.
Clean or sanitized? Clean can include naughty words. This isn't 1950. I aint mad at ya but getting banned for joking around then getting told if you dont like it leave kinda gets old. It's your **** though. Make it what you want.

Just clean. It’s really not that hard to comply with it if you’re willing. The goal is to make as many people comfortable with the site without going too far. (Very hard line to find sometimes) Keeping the main forums clean is a pretty minor request if it helps include all the folks that avoid that type of stuff.

Have you ever been tearing it up with your boys and had to look down and check which area you are in? Half the time I have no clue but I surely do get reminded quickly. Never nicely and never respectfully though. You can have a clean site without treating your members like pieces of ****.
