Is it worth me buying a $295 savage bolt action rifle to shoot up this ammo, or should I just sell the ammo and move on ?

Natchez seems to be one of the last places for decent priced ammo but they go out of stock fast for most calibers.

I found the Savage Mk II, so you think 295 is an okay price ? Do you think that the .17 mach 2 is a necessary caliber though ?

The one I found but was too late in getting was 299.00 I don’t know much about the 17 Mach 2 though

The Eley Mach 2 ammo is prized by 17hm2 shooters for its accuracy. It usually sells for a premium to currently manufactured Mach 2 ammo

Pre COVID Hornady was going around $8-$10 per box of 50. Eley around $15, maybe higher. Good place to check is rimfirecentral.com.
