Sometimes they taste like Bald Eagle or Red Cockaded Woodpecker, depending on what they've been eating.

I lot of things would have to go wrong before I eat frog legs or squirrels.

My local butcher shop was advertising them today, $9.99 a pound. Not sure if a good price or not. Never tried them before.

I love frog legs as it was a staple down in South Florida we would go frog gigging..To me they taste more delicate than chicken by a long shot...I normally just batter fry and add lemon juice to them.

As a kid it was my absolute favorite thing to order when we went out to eat. Then I made the mistake of smelling them.
Then fried shrimp was my favorite....

I’ve done both.
And squab. When we were kids in Savannah, we’d clean pigeon nests out of people’s‘ attics, take the nestlings and pan fry only the breasts in butter.

Never new it was a delicacy until later in life. When I was growing up my uncle use to take me down to the creek frog gigging and we’d (mom) cook up what we got the next day. Taste more like rattle snake than chicken to me.
