Why waste the time and money having your expensive barrel cut down, re crowned and the gas system reworked when you can have the real thing? Preserve the value by still having the original barrle intact. I have a factory light weight, heavy barrel and heavy barrel 416 upper combo. all you have to do is swap your components over from your semi auto gun. They are completely compatible with the 416. If you are lucky enough to find a true hk416 bcg, you might want to look at the upper, barrel combo. The semi auto bcg will work in the 416 but the full auto will not in the semi auto from what I have been told. I bought thses a few years ago at knobcreek planning on doing a few myself but have never got around to getting a mr556. I hand picked them so the chambers, lands and grooves are very bright and shiny and plenty of meet left. These are almost impossible to find as separate pieces and HK wont even entertain selling them direct. They came from a department that went from 10.3 to 14.5. Remember all nfa rules apply. Thanks for looking.
