FS/FT 1891 Trapdoor 45-70

Model 1884 Trapdoor manufactures in 1891. Still in good condition aside from patina on metal parts. Bore is very shiny and in good condition.

This is a ramrod bayonet version.

Most of these guns are in such good condition because they were never even fired. Late production guns were never issued because the 30/40 Krag came out. The Trapdoors were kept storage and sold by the CMP in the 1950's. I've read you could buy a rifle and 100 rnds for $15. I have one and LOVE it.
