For Sale:
1943 Saginaw S.G. M1 Carbine, completely matching. All marked parts are marked SG/Saginaw, finish is original parkerizing with some of the original cosmoline film still remaining. Saginaw S.G. Div, General Motors marked barrel, P proofed, bore is immaculate, like new.
Stock is an original type II high wood, RSG marked (Rock-Ola, subcontractor for Saginaw S.G.), I am not sure if this is the original stock to the gun, due to lack of inspection/proof marks, but I have been told that replacements would be marked with a flaming bomb, which this is not. Stock Upper Handguard matches.
Magazine is KSG Marked, also in like new condition to match everything else. I also have about 6 NOS U marked (Union Hardware) magazines also available for separate purchase if interested.
I have fired a total of 20 rounds through this rifle, cleaned, oiled, put in the safe and it has not been touched since. Rifle speaks for itself - It is a jewel. Stock pouch and sling are reproductions from At the Front.
