Original stock in very good condition with proof stamp and inspectors stamp still intact.
All original parts; bolt, trigger, op rod, etc.

Overall excellent original condition, this rifle has never seen any serious use.
Correct 1952 dated GI sling.

Am I correct in understanding that you are suggesting that one should use this Garand to rid your garden of nocturnal tomato eating Japanese Beetles? You sound like an exciting neighbor. :)
 
I'm sure that whatever you're talking about is true, but you read WAY past what I meant. I'm just talking about the Japs that come around at night and steal people's mater plants.

Lol.... I was referring to the Gran Torino "get off my lawn" one liner. I was watching the movie with the wife (whom is 1/4 Japanese), and said "silly Japs". She didn't allow the rest of the film to be enjoyable. But another free bump for a cool Piece of history.
 
His Dad is a walking encyclopedia about Garands, btw! I had the pleasure of spending about an hour with him talking about them. Jeff and his Dad are both great guys - just picked up one of their Garands this past weekend and couldn't be happier! Great guys to deal with!
