Item Description: Up for Sale is A Winchester M1-Garand Serial Number 126XXX Pre-War Garand One of the First 60k Winchester Rifles Which makes this a Little Rare.
The Receiver Sells by itself for around $650.00 so I think asking $1000.00 Firm! Need Cash
Is a Fair Price.
Has a Springfield Barrel Made in the 6th month of 1953 and has a MW of 1.5 and a TE of 2.5, and the Receiver looks to have Original Finish on it.
PM is best and must be 18 and GA Resident with Proof by GWCL or GA. DL

The receiver is really only worth that to someone who plans on "correcting" the rifle, and with it being such an early serial number that is going to be extremely costly. Lockbar rear sights alone are $350+ Other than the receiver you have a mixmaster

Exactly But how many of these do you see listed? I am sure they will make more 1941 Winchester Rifle Receivers.
So why not offer the chance to someone else who would like to correct a rifle of their own or just own a shooting piece of history.
I never said in my ad that this was not a Mixmaster rifle I just said it was an early Winchester Receiver that can sell up to $650.00 and has a Springfield Barrel that was made later in June of 1953 and BTW the measurements on the barrel make it like new (lots of Pew pew pew left in it).
I have the parts to complete this rifle back to original configuration but I am currently restoring an earlier one than this one and do not need 2 of them.
I have over 3k in one rifle and will never recoup my cost but when I was done correcting the rifle I have one Early Corrected rifle that I enjoy.
