Case hardened party don’t take cold blue as well. Nether does pot metal parts such as trigger guards. It came mount nice. How many parts did you end up using off the gun you got from me?
🤣 For some reason I had a feeling you were going to ask that question on my way home with it and I posted something about getting it finished. I used the take down screw of course and only the trigger and pin. The original trigger’s pin hole was worn some and made for a very very light trigger pull. But she is nice and tight with a normal trigger pull now

That’s for sure!!! And actually think of trying to find those parts over time and possibly restore it as well. I also realized that yours was a 12 ga while mine was a 16 ga. While playing around with both guns and parts and seeing what would or wouldn’t work. I think some parts were made per gun, noticed that holes were off from on to another or simply would not fit at all.
