I just found that out today. Been out of the loop for a bit. Is there anything around similar? Liked that it was kind of free form and you got to shoot as much as you wanted unlike IDPA.

that’s called USPSA.

Here’s a shooting area. There are the targets. Figure it out and shoot them as quickly and accurately as you can.

Hit factor scoring is a far better measure of skill than time plus. Time plus too greatly favors accuracy over time. Something you’re usually short of in most “defensive” situations.

IDPA is just a reason for dudes to feel good about still carrying 1911’s
