We are now into September already and the summer time fishing pattern will soon transition into fall methods. Deep water structure is paying off for us working both live baits and soft plastic lure to land solid Speckled Trout and Redfish. Oyster reefs from 8-13ft deep are most productive during periods of tidal flow. The big Bull Redfish have begun to spawn around the Galveston jetties with mullet and shad working well to land these big 20-40lb Reds. Speckled Trout will soon begin to follow the shrimp migrations making for non stop action.
