Garand. New ARs are made everyday, while there are no new garands.
One positive strike for the AR is you might not be able to get him at all in a year. There might be some kind of job where serialized AR guns have to stay with the owner they are with and can not be transferred. I mean it's a possibility, one to take into consideration. It's not certain but it haunts me to think about what kind of control the Dems might assert.
In all seriousness, this is what I would do: Buy the Garand, flip it, sell your current AR and get a nicely set up AR with the amassed funds. Thank me later.
