Still does not change the fact that we could control our own energy future by using all of our available resources. Plenty of blame for multiple politicians, but current leadership clearly declared an end to fossil fuels, not caring at all what that means to the average consumer- extreme gas/diesel prices and inflation of all goods that must be transported.

If COVID won't keep you in a controlled environment, such as your home, gas you can't afford just might. Control by way of runaway inflation. You'll either be rich enough to live as you do or die where you stand. That's as basic of an explanation as it can get.
