Georgia crappie

I am new to fishing Lanier, would anybody like to share any onfo on what's going on there with the crappie right now? Creek's,water temp,ETC, I mostly troll.

We took the boat out today on West Point & come across 4-5 black crappie & three catfish. Used minnows & jigs. We didn't fish all day, but one of the guys at the dock had 27 crappie. He was trolling jigs he said.

I love catching crappie but there are none in my local Carters lake.

I'd be surprised if there's anything left in carters

See that's the problem. And you forgot trout season is about to open as well. We also have hogs on our property. So much good stuff to kill or catch I'm always torn as to what to do.

About that time of year again. Tie off at the bridge at west point lake, get the lantern out and crappie fish. Boom!!!
