Sad, unless you're literally in BFE, you shouldn't be dying from snake bites in a 1st world country.

I don't know how they tell you are allergic but when I was a kid I went to a 2 week outdoor summer camp in Ocala and one of the other kids got bit. Apparently he was allergic as well and he didn't make it. His parents had dropped him at the camp and went on an overseas vacation. Don't think they made it back before he passed. Horrible situation.

I saw a video where they put rattler venom in a cup of blood. ( I think it was posted here) It turned the blood to syrup in a very short time. I'm sure the ratio was off as far as venom to blood amount in your body but it was still quick
