Pack an antibiotic that works for you. When they were first discovered they were revolutionary and we take them for granted now. We shouldn't.Amoxicillin makes me **** my colon out. I'll pass on that one. But nice list.
Depending on what the situation is, 25 miles a day could be very optimistic.30-50 miles... I've got my EDC with a couple of extra mags. A first aid kit. Enough food bars (CLiff or B-fast bars) for a couple of days. At least 1/2 a case of bottled water. Rolled up plastic tarp, line and fire making tools. Wool blanket. Map and knowledge of area within 50 miles. That'll be enough for a two day walk.

Now take into account the variety of adverse conditions that could have caused the SHTF in the first place and that could easily drop to less than 5 miles a day.Yeah most people's walking pace is 3 miles an hour, Without a 30 to 50lbs pack and not continuous.
Realistically I think maybe 10 to 12 miles a day.
Yea... You're right, I have slowed a bit too. That's OK cause I can last four days with what I got.Depending on what the situation is, 25 miles a day could be very optimistic.
This does not include a tactical vest and it's contents kept in a separate pack. This may seem like a lot, but most of it is very small and light. Actual weight of the pack is right at 35lbs.
