A M11/9 is still way too fast for subgun competitions. A M11A1 is full retard when it comes to ROF. A lage upper on them absolutely transforms it into a much better firearm by leaps and bounds.
I just wish Mr. Lage would make a rifle caliber upper for them. That would absolutely change the realm of the lowly mac.

I know. Trying to find a 4" barrel for an XDs 3.3. Alos trying to find a few other threaded hosts.

I have the M10 in 9mm, it doesn't seem to shoot as fast as I would think.
springfield has the new 4" xds model coming out. Maybe you can order a barrel soon afterwards.
Extending a pistol barrel is a lot of effort. I have a XD service that I bought a XD tactical barrel with a 9mm conversion. Dobbs threaded that for me no problem. (tactical is 5", service is 4") The xds series can swap barrels amongst each other as well. That's the easiest path.
A M10 has a slower fire rate than the M11/9 and M11A1. It's still too fast though for serious competition. I can easily pull off doubles with my lages.
Definitely the easiest path to buy a 4" since the new release, but they don't offer a barrel for sale and no aftermarket has one yet either I.E storm lake, EFK, etc....
