Glock 42 Image

For which you will have up for sale or trade in 2 weeks after getting it. So why nut just start giving away $50 to random people since that's what you do with guns, but this way it'll be cheaper in the long run.

Hell I've held onto mine for a while. Sure I've traded off many in my time but what's it to ya? I just don't see why make a 380 that's bigger than everybody else's pocket carry, still the same as a 9 when 380 is more expensive than 9mm. Whatever though, doesn't make me lose sleep. Btw good luck w proposal. When is the funeral for yer balls er I mean batchelor party? :)

Lotta truth in post #16 Patronus. Alot of uninformed decisions made at executive levels, look at what Cracker Barrel did, gotta listen to the consumer!

The only way this is going to work is if it's chambered in .380 GAP... ;)

I'd have to see what it felt like. The dimensions make it seem big but thinner than my G26. Not interested at typical new Glock prices though.

Patronus nailed it with the size comparison-- It's still thick as a brick like the other Glocks.

I don't think I'd like having a Glock trigger in my pocket, even in a quality leather holster.

Yeah...this is bull****. They could have made a serious 9mm competitor for the Kahr or a genuine pocket .380, but Nooooo...they had to half ass it and make neither. So a long slide 45 ACP and a POS, too big 380 is what they came up with? ****. As good as Glocks customer support is you'd think they could frigging listen to us as well.

Thanks for saving me the trouble. Ditto.

.380 isn't my favorite either, and I'm definitely not even close to replacing my trusty AirLite. I am curious if they've managed to crack the code on a compact .380. I've yet to find a pocket semi auto reliable enough to be a carry gun.

SIG P238. Lightweight, compact, uber-reliable, and features a crisp SA trigger and full-sized tritium night sights. There is no better subcompact .380 available IMO.

I understand what you are saying. And I was in no way serious with my comments.

That being said, if this is a 380 it will do well. Not everybody that buys pistols is as critical as we are. I assume (maybe my mistake) that everyone on here is a critical "gun guy". I know I am. The casual gun guy/gal will hear there is a new Glock and run and get it.

I also believe that A LOT of the folks complaining will secretly get it anyway.

Merry Christmas to you and your family.

I will keep mine with my lingerie that I don't have. Maybe this will finally be the Glock that doesn't feel lousy in my hand.
