Glock 42 Image

This thread got funny. Keep going. Someone beat up a meth head with your johnson. Then take pictures of the damage done to said methhead. We do NOT want a pic of your johnson.

So, are you warming the ol penis up for some skull crackin' after all?

I plan to shoot two to COM which I fully expect to be ineffective. I can only hope to knock the perp unconscious by glancing a .380 FMJ round off of his head. Beating your meatstick on the perp's skull is definitely a last ditch effort kind of thing.

I dunno, it might really get his/her attention.

with all the great pocket 9s,.380 has definitely lost a lot of its market appeal.
and sure .380 is must more inferior ballistics wise.
but do you really think someone will just shake off a couple shot to the chest?

It simply is not the round, it is the person delivering the .380auto. Perfectly happy in 9/10 situations with that cartridge because I have put the work in to deliver it efficiently. When not toting a Glock 19 or 17 or 1911 I have complete confidence in my SIG238. Would I change a thing or two about some TTP's regarding my deployment of the weapon (when, where and how), yep. Other than that, I could care less if you snorted powdered tacos, meth or "bath salts"..... Like most things it's a training issue IMO.

But but but but but a 380 might expand but a 45 won't shrink! :pound:

I adhere to the old stricture: Carry the biggest gun you will CARRY. That sure as hell doesn't mean a .380 MOST of the time and it will NEVER mean a .380 that offers no size advantage over a competing 9MM or 40 S&W. So, if the dimensions in that pic are accurate, Glock can keep that thing. I can carry my PM40 is the same space and with very little more weight. And I can carry my P3AT in places that Glock 42(according to the picture) can't be conveniently carried.

And as for .380 in general...it's a LAST DITCH caliber...anything less is stoopidly suicidal. 32, 25 and even 22LR out of a pistol? I guess it still beats a can of coke in a pillow case but not by much.
