"Dead Ringer" snake eyes sights for the G42/43:

I'm not a fan.. Defeats the whole purpose of a single stack sub-compact IMHO. Anyway, just posting what I find.

Anyway, just posting what I find.
On that note...
Some of the Blue Label G43's from Ed's Public Safety had Ameriglo FAT night sights on them. They are the 3 dot sights with the yellow luminescent ring on the front sight and round notch in the back (I will post pics later). It turns out that those Sights are a distributor exclusive from Ed's and they have them for the Regular 9mm models too. I have them on my G19 and G43. They are ~$96 OTD.

Here's one more item I stumbled across... Lonewolf Adjustable trigger:

The trigger shoe is compatible with the G43. Back ordered until 6-26-15.

Just ordered one of these. Got tired of waiting on Glock to release their trigger bars which is the hold up on most other aftermarket drop in triggers so I decided to give the LWD adjustable trigger shoe a try. It has a smooth face and flush trigger safety (my biggest complaint with the stock trigger shoe).. Its also adjustable for pretravel and over travel. @ $49 the price is right so we'll see how it goes. I'll post a short review here once I've tried it out.

Got the LWD adjustable trigger installed and took my G43 out for some test firing.. I have to say, I'm impressed!

My biggest complaints with the stock Glock 43 trigger were 1) the pull weight, 2) the rigid surface and 3) the trigger safety didn't sit flush with the trigger when depressed. The LWD trigger helps fix all three of those issues. The trigger surface is nice and flat, the trigger safety is oversized and sits flush when depressed... I don't know if the trigger shoe changes the geometry of where the trigger bar pivots or what but it has reduced my trigger pull by another pound. With my combination of trigger mods the pull is now averaging 3.9 lbs! The LWD trigger can also be adjusted to remove pre-travel and over-travel. The stock trigger was really mushy before reaching the wall.. Not anymore. With some tweaking it sits firmly against the wall and breaks cleanly with virtually no overtravel. Best $49 I've spent so far.

So for you guys who are like me and hate the stock G43 trigger, here is the recipe to make it awesome for less than 75 bucks:

Ghost Edge connector ($24)

Lone Wolf Ultimate Adjustable Trigger (shoe only):

I have a set of Dawson precision fiber optic sights on the way for mine.

Got my TTI mag extensions last week those are a very nice addition.

The Glock store is offering tungsten guide rods. I am very interested in trying one, but have not yet pulled the trigger. (No pun intended)

I don't know what I have the hardest time believing....
A. That Taran tactical had 2 G-43 extensions available or
B. That I was dumb enough to pay $65 for two of them.

It frustrates me that Glock finally came out with what (according to all reports including personal experience) seems to be a terrific single stack design then didn't follow S&W's example with the compact/ extended mag. combo.
That finger extension is such a waste of space for such a size efficient gun.
Even though I don't plan on carrying it in place of my 19, a +1 or +2 exten. floorplate is the same approx. size of the extension. Oh well....

Waiting for CrimsonTrace to bring their green laser to market. Has been delayed until Aug. now.

I may have to buy a 43 for me also. Now we have four Glocks.

Got bored and polished my barrel over the weekend. Not an extreme mirror polish as I wasn't going for the chrome "bling" look, but more of a stainless look to accent the silver color of the aluminum trigger.

I think it turned out pretty well.
