Glock 43X slide on PSA Micro Dagger Frame

My main problem with the Dagger frames is that the frame rails aren’t molded rigidly into the slide. This means there is play in the frame rails, which will get worse under use. Not conducive to reliability.

There’s a reason cheap frames are cheap.

I have tried this and it did not work on my sample of 1. The slide would not pull back all the way. After a bunch of troubleshooting, I found out the PSA locking block sits a hair (1-1.5mm) higher than a Glock OEM, and depending on the tolerances of your barrel, it may bind up.

I have several Frankenstein 43 43x micro dagger combo mainly because I like the grip angle of the micro dagger and they are really durable in wet sweaty environments. Spoiler I highly recommend an air weight or stock 43 or 43x for ease of use and lots less tinkering daily carry over a Frankenstein. That said I have 3 guns that are awesome for clipping in my toolbox and or sweats gym shorts. If you don't shoot it a lot 1000s of rounds get a Dagger frame and a 43 slide and stay with factory Glock mags or PSA mags that's a functional cheapo option. The polymer sleeved mags are a great idea buy and try a few keep the ones that work PSA mags are not bad but 4 out of 20 of mine required finishing to work. I switched to Shield mags. They will take work to make work in micro dagger frames. All frames and mags needed tuning to work shield mags in a PSA frame. Out of a sample size of 20 Shield mags all of them worked in all of my G43x models 0 in the microdaggers- good idea to put the metal mag release in if you plan to use them. I have a little over 2000 rounds through my micro43stein no problems yet (I did get a Vickers trigger for it - totally worth it)

Dang. Guess I am lucky. My shield arms gen 3 mag works in both of my 43x pistols and also in the micro dagger frame with off brand slide/upper. Same with the PSA and factory Glock mags. All three guns run well with it all. No RDS on any and none are milled for a RDS. Maybe it makes a difference? Dunno.

We transfer a lot of PSA Dagger, Compact Dagger, and Micro Dagger frames through the shop. Cheap guns and $20 transfers just go together.

I can’t count how many times a customer has come back or called us, requesting help with issues with their PSA Dagger frame. 3 or 4 of our employees have ordered one or more PSA Dagger frames. 2 of them had to go back to PSA for replacement.
