Glock AR pics

Since they’ve been available for years, it would seem that the investment to make them has already been handled.
I mean, if it's good enough for the Slovakian Police...not sure the history of what they use from a rifle standpoint, but if Glock ARs and/or carbines were that much better than what they were using previously, it makes me wonder what they had before.

I do think this will become a battle between S&W and Glock (and possibly FN) for United States police agencies to see whose rifle can take the most punishment and neglect and still function. I won't be remotely surprised if Glock manages to beat S&W out.

It would be nice to make a PCC running Glock mags but who doesn't make a decent one any more?
I had a similar thought. It would be nice to have a Glock quality PCC that would fall price wise somewhere between my Extar EP9 (which uses LOTS of polymer) and say a B&T in 9mm.

There are a lot of proven Colt, BCM and SIG and Rock River carbines used across the country by various LEO agencies. Going to have to offer something special to unseat those other than just because it has Glock scratched on the receiver.

This. The stock DPMS m4 that I paid less than $400 for has never let me down.

Thank you for correcting my ignorance. For some reason, I had it in my head that Smith & Wesson and FN were the kind of go to for LEOs.

I think there are a bunch of those out there as well. I know Macon - Bibb Co. has a bunch of the older T -series S&W carbines. I’m sure an FN AR and a 509 series pistol would be an excellent setup. Not sure how FN does on pricing these days.

I didn’t say they make high tier pistols but they’re awfully reliable.
I said “make an ar that runs as well as higher tier ARs”.

You said "other" high tier AR's. The other means you included Glock in high tier. I love Glocks, carry Glocks and have been a Glock Armour for for over a decade. I trust my life to them, but they're not high tier.

And you would be correct the investment is made, but not in this country and with import laws, they would need to make the AR in country.

Think of the neutered H&K products we get now if not made in country. That would be a Glock AR.

Correct… other High Tier ARs… meaning the ones they’ll be competing with.

Your argument is really pretty indicative of someone who enjoys arguing semantics on a message board. Good for you.
