I just bought a Surplus (AIM Surplus) Glock 23 Gen 3 for $300 and decided to try a conversion to 9mm (poor man's Glock19)
Got a $39 conversion barrel from Bear Creek (I know crappy ARs but I researched their conversion barrels and they were well rated.
The barrel was around $39 so w shipping and tax around $53.
I took it to the range and ran a magazine of .40 through it then changed the barrel.
I used some Glock 17 mags I had and it ran great. I've ordered a few G19 mags and am happy w my dual caliber Glock.
I also have a Glock 21 that I traded for that came with a 10mm conversion barrel and recoil spring/guide and magazines.
There are many YouTube videos on the subject if anyone is interested.
