Glock factory Symrna, Ga

i've never seen them replace for free. except they will install stock sights if you like.

I always took it as, if replacement is warranted with the 15yr warranty period, it's covered...and the armorer agreed to that, they just weren't broken enough..had to have no illumination or physically damaged/missing.

I took a G22 with GNS to Glock late last year..the GNS were extremely dim..the armorer informed me that he couldn't replace them under warranty because they still glowed, even if just a little..

The armorers working customer service rotate in from the production floor, so you won't get the same person on a day to day basis. They are given leeway to make judgement calls on a lot of stuff, so much depends on who you get on a given day.

They will not replace other brands of nite sites under warranty, only Glock brand. A lot of people go there with non Glock nite sites and expect them to replace them under warranty. Still a great deal for $57 installed with a 15 year warranty. I take a couple of Glocks there every couple of years just to have them checked out and have them replace any worn parts. I have Glock nite sites installed on all of my Glocks. If your Glock nite sites are truly non functioning, they will replace them for free.

This is exactly why some get new magazines and others don't as well as swag. The armorers do have a lot of leeway when it comes to warranty work. Some just do "enough" and some go above and beyond.

yep I know..this was the only time they didn't do everything I asked them to do, and I've been there several times...Glock walk in customer service is still the best I've experienced as far as customer service goes in any form, even apple!

most people bring in older glocks expecting a warranty on nite sites. if its less than the 15 yr warranty they will. lot of guys buy old police turn in gen 2's thinking they'll get free sights.

the one I was talking about was a gen 3 from AO, manufactured in 2006, and was in warranty..but I hear you bear, and yep that's ridiculous
