That is kind of like asking which is the best gun. Some folks love Gen 4, some hate it. Some folks swear by Gen 2.

My advice is to shoot as many as you can and decide for yourself.

I like the grip of the Gen 2's with the grip texture of the Gen 4's lol.

A Gen 2 Glock 19 fits my hand like a glove!

I like the 4s myself, the thiner grip fits my hand well.

I like the gen 3s other than the texturing of the grip on the backside. After a range session my palm has red indentions from where I was holding the pistol.

I like the grip and I like the rail.
