I agree, and apologize for not mentioning the 9mm cannot be converted to .40, and that a factory 9mm barrel will not work. Perhaps you already knew this, but I should have remembered to mention it, at least. The conversion barrels for 9mm will have the same outside diameter as the .40, and will fit just like a .40 into the slide, but the bore will be 9mm, resulting in a thicker walled barrel.

I've only tried the Lone Wolf conversion barrels and they work. Very nice machining and accurate.

Now I understand. So If you bought a G22 You can convert it to basically a G17 with barrel and Mags. Very neat.

idc what anyone says. Glock 19 P-mags have worked 100% for me. other than that, Gunmagwarehouse.com for OEM ones....
and they check all the parts/springs/mags etc. sometimes they give you free goodies.

So I have a G19. what should i get next? I like the Idea of one in .45 , Kinda like the 19X , I also like the 17L.

On the issue of barrel swaps from .40 to 9, the ejector needs to be changed as well. The 9mm ejector has more bend toward the center of the pistol, to account for the slightly smaller diameter of the case.
