Also. I'm not a know it all by any means. I was under the impression the G17L had a solid slide and a long 6.03" Barrel, non ported non compensated. Like and 8. Something slide
The G34 was Shorter than a 17L slide +\- 1/2" ? But compensated but with a 5.3??" Barrel?
So was there ever a non compensated 17L and am I correct on those numbers above within reason?

Never had one, my buddy has a 34 I've ran and had a blast. Tack driving fun. I haven't even put rounds through this 17L yet. (LGS clerk on LGS lay-a-way; that's how gunstores get rich) it'll be in my dirty little hands within 2 weeks though. Be prepared for some sails from me this week....
I used to be a supervisor at a LGS. You're not telling me nothing I haven't experienced. Lol. My wife bought me mine as a complete surprise. Sold my 34 because of it.
They offered to pay me in store credit. I was a fool to say no. I'm only part time so I make meh 400.00 a month MAX usually less. pay taxes on it and spend 325.00 there easy. Usually in debt to them working something/s off. I Keep s*** on lay away It's my "don't fire me plan" hahaha. But I definitely wouldn't have been loosing going tax free and working store credit
