Glock triggers are terrible

Id perfer to see those contracts given to American founded companies. Sure we want more industry and jobs in America, but even freedom; to pick your own duty arm would be more patriotic than an Austrian founded monopoly.

When an American company can make a handgun that runs as reliably as a Glock, for approximately the same price as a Glock, and provides the support that Glock does, I'll carry and recommend Glocks for LE duty use. Until that day happens, I'll continue to carry and recommend Glock.

Never had issues shooting my Glocks, I shoot them all pretty well honestly. Even my wife's first time shooting a handgun was a Gen 3 Glock 21 and she shot it great. Like cmshoot said, if LEO in high stress can shoot it well, or a newbie shooter who's never fired a handgun can shoot it well, it's not the trigger

But I'm also not comparing it to a gun 2-3x it's price point either. Plus like other's said, they just work reliably and are safe to carry.

Not saying they cant be "fixed" but Ive never picked one up new and been impressed .
AGREED!!! Not since 1992 has anyone picked up a Glock and been Impresses. The second time folks got Jiggy was when the Long slide 17 came along. Then again when the 26 & 27 appeared. Then It happened again with a few IPSC guys when the models 34 & 35 came out, short lived though disappointment's. Oh! I once read where a few guys got really squirrely girly when the 44 arrived. I guess they wanted a dainty Glock. I'm down to one Gen 1 Model 17. My little girl said she want's that one. So, she'll get it.

I love the Glock trigger. Just owned so many over the years, Ive grown to love it and know it like the back of my hand. Its not great, its barely good, but it does what its supposed to do.

It may just me but I found discrepancy in the new Performance Trigger.

Fondled a Gen5 G19 with PT installed and felt pretty good over the factory ones I’m used to.

Hit a local gun shop and fondled a G45 MOS with the PT installed but it wasn’t the same feel. In fact it felt like it JUMPED forward after the break. I even had a shop member check it out and said he felt the same thing… maybe it was the install from the shop vs from Glock?

No, I don't think Glock can make them constantly. I've got 2, one was great the other isn't installed because it's like you described.

If Ruger made guns in Austria this would somehow be preferable to US manufacture because of the provenance of the company?

Also, how is Glock a monopoly? They have a boatload of competitors.

Gadsden Glock specifically designed his Glock trigger-pull to somewhat simulate police double-action revolvers.

That'd be "Gaston".
