Thanks for the input (no sarcasm).
Everyone I've talked to who owns them speaks well of the semi-auto's.
Remington 1100? I ditched mine after I cleaned it a couple of times. Too much work. Hence my move to the inertia action. Recoil's a lot less annoying than cleaning a gas shotgun.
....mikey357"Too Much Work"?!?! LMAO! I am the POSTER CHILD for the "Work Smart, Not Hard" Movement, but it only takes me about TEN MINUTES to do a "Regular" cleaning of my 1100's & 11-87's--'Bout once a year, I will do a "Deep Cleaning", takes about 20 or 25 minutes--A VERY Worthwhile Trade-off for the LIGHTEST-KICKING Semiauto Shotgun ever built!.......mikey357
i really like the humpback style with the thin vented rib. They are Simple, easy to clean, absolutely reliable with almost any factory load, I have never had a malfunction with it. I dropped it twice in frozen bayou meto ark. duck hunting ( crappy sling clip broke twice) picked it up, shook the water out, and it never missed a beat.
