I wish I would have bought a yak much sooner than I did. I like them so much, I've got three of them. Probably should sell one.

If you are new at kayaking, your learning curve will be steep. I suggest you strip it clean and go out in the water and learn how to turn it over many times (you will learn it's limits) and then learn how to get back in it. Do this in shallow water and also water too deep to touch the bottom. Also do it with and without a life jacket. You will soon learn the importance of a jacket, especially in deep water. Have fun.

I like that lawn chair gives it that redneck aura,plus its only 12 bucks and I can sit up higher
