Got bitten by a Snake this morning.

Banded water snake. Still can leave a nasty infection. Clean & treat wound like any other.

Bet you wishdid you took the extra 2 mins
to put on your boots instead of flop flips now.
Ounce of prevention worth a pound of cure etc.
Alcohol works best if applied from the inside. (hic)

Yep, had a much larger one bite me years ago and left an infection for several days. Had a slight burning sensation where it bit.

That would have been a dead snake.

Those bites can be very lethal. So many snakes do not survive such an encounter like that. Prayers...

I'm all for the good snakes, but good and stupid is two different things...uh, bringing fangs to a gunfight.

Pick that non venomous snake up by the tail and crack the whip. His head will disappear........

Then after you get a non venomous figured out, switch to a water moccasin/ copper head. It took me YEARS to get to that level of boy stunts.
