Graphite lubricant for slide?

I'm a big fan of TW-25b.

Yup, this is the best I've found so far for slide rails. I generally just use a very small bead inside the slide rail groove and then spread it with a Q-tip or a wooden toothpick. It lasts a lot longer than oils and I've never had it gum up or collect grit.

Thats exactly how I apply it. Its a great product.

My gunsmith has used transmission fluid for the last 30 years. I laughed a little when he told me that.
Thinking he was joking.

Then he said Have you ever seen the inside of a tranny be rusty! Imagine how hot it gets inside the tranny.
It's cheaper than store bought quoted gun "lube", a little goes a long way
