Alarm does make an audible chirp when it's armed or disarmed.
I unfortunately don't have Internet service to be able to hook-up wi-fi cameras. Wish I did but right now I have to carry up a portable hotspot to stay in online while at man-cave North.
The alarm system has built-in cellular connectivity that utilizes Verizon. Cameras are supposedly on the horizon but nothing available yet.
A lot of times when I'm up there I will leave the cable up across the drive just to keep an eye out for snoopers who think nobody is around. Always thought it takes someone pretty ballsy or incredibly stupid to be lurking around on private property in such a remote location where they are likely to get shot.
