Gun belts

I have read that so many reviews these days on eBay and Amazon are fakes, I need advice from someone I trust for a good gun belt. It will be my everyday belt. I carry a thumb break leather holster on the outside and a blackpoint iwb. Thank you in advance.

My wife is looking for a gun belt. I gave her the links suggested in this thread, but she may think they are too manly. Does anyone have suggestions from a wife that carries? It would be for IWB carry. She is small, like 5'4" and 115 lbs, and carries a P365, so I'm not sure how thick and heavy the belt needs to be.

I thought about starting another thread, so I don't hijack this one. But there were so many good suggestions here that I didn't. Let me know if I should I'll move my question to a new thread.

I have been looking at Diamond D Leather out of Wasilla Alaska for a chest rig, and noticed they have some very nicely constructed belts as well.

The Magpul belts have a nice combo of flexibility and rigidity, with a layer of polymer stitched to the inside of the leather. And they just look like a nice belt instead of screaming tactical. I EDC with the El Empressario (1.5”) to accommodate shorts or dress pants that have slimmer belt loops.

I don’t have a Hanks belt, but I have one of their wallets and it’s great. 100 year warranty. Here are their women’s Belts:

A gun belt? It's the belt right after the green belt. Its sorta like a black belt. Except with the gun belt you become Steven Seagull master right off the bat. Then come the stripes. I am a 10 mm gun belt. Right below the 41 mag belt.
The gun belt makes Steven Seagal your biotch. Like right away!

HILARIOUS !!:pound: We need some karate or ninja emojis , :boxing::fencing:lol Ok...i am a “.41mag black belt” ! LMAO
The “41mag belt” is a specialty belt. You have to be a big dude to pull off a “41mag belt”. It is a large bore, of course, so it requires & commands the respect of a nice revolver (since the .41automag is virtually nonexistent) . The best carry makes for what someone is comfortable with. I carried a 6”Redhawk for a while during the cooler months. That would allow me a cover for a shoulder holster. Also i carry a 4-5/8” Blackhawk that has been ‘worked on’ lol.
I have a couple of projects up for some snub nose .41mags ... but i digress.
All in all, some try but cant....some pull it off in style... some you barely if ever see, that’s me:).
A big man ought to carry a big gun :cool-new:.
(That 10mm blackbelt isnt anything to sneeze at !!)

I may have a slightly differing opinion than some on here. Bear in mind I'm 5'8 and about 150 lbs or so, so many call me "skinny". I don't think I am, but there it is.

I purchased a highly recommended very thick synthetic leather belt for appendix carry, and I hate it for that job.

It doesn't flex at all and rides into my hip bones. For some reason this belt works fine for OWB carry at the "3-4 O'clock" position, but it literally pains me if I try appendix carry. Plus it seems a really thick belt pushes the holster's belt attachment clip even further out, making it print worse through my shirt.

So, on a whim I purchased a "Fairwin Tactical" 'cobra' style belt off Amazon for $12. The buckle is a shade under 2" wide so it fits through the belt loops on my carpenter style jeans, and it's pretty flexible, and it works great for me for appendix carry. I've had it for a few years now and it seems to work fine.

Not knocking anyone else's choices; I'm just stating what works for me.
