Gun belts

Im a fatboy....so i order from Bigfoot gun belts. They sail any size i think. They have steel core belts so you can have a truly sturdy leather belt inside your belt loops that will hold a gun without rolling.
Check them out. Worth every penny.

Yep. My Bigfoot took some breaking in, but it's great. Wearing it right now; 3.5 years old, just like almost every day since I got it. Milt Sparks makes superb gun belts too-- long lasting, can support the weight, even cut on a curve, available in exotic leathers, but expensive.

What weight did you opt for ? I went with 14oz vs 18oz ..... $30 diff, but im not sure it would be that noticeable.....

Someone mentioned the Blue Alpha belts. I bought one of these too....the only thing was the buckle is a pain to ffit any pants loops. Difficult to thread in jeans, etc., I have to kind of wedge the buckle through. Because it is webbed nylon, the belt flexes and goes in smooth after you wrestle the buckle through . Lol.
I still use it sometimes.
More than likely i have a buckle/belt that wasnt meant to thread in loops but it does ! Lol.
I love the belt itself. Great materials. Thats my experience with them.

14 oz. with steel core; I just pulled up the email from August '18. Unless you are carrying a Desert Eagle, it should be plenty stiff. Seriously. 1911 OWB? No problem; it's not going to sag.

It's going to be very stiff to start with though-- be prepared for that. It will soften up though. Mine's fine, after 3.5 years. I've lost so much weight during COVID, I may need to order a smaller one.

I'm a big guy. I have two go to's depending on what I need.

Leather - I use a Hanks Belts "Xtreme 1.5"

I can sweat quite a bit, but this belt has held up pretty well going on two years with it just now starting to see some real deformation and softening. Still works well, but better for IWB now.

Synthetic- I use an SOE (Special Operations Equipment) EDC belt w/o lining
EDC Belt Without Velcro Lining - Size 36" to 44" — Special Operations Equipment (originalsoegear.com)
Quality belt and as long as you pay attention and order right, this is my normal go to, its a fantastic belt that gives me the option to fine tune the fit throughout the day. They also have an option to have the belt rebuilt for a small fee if you need to change size or you wear out the webbing. I have done this and have a couple of their belts.
