Seattle hosted a similar event, offering gift cards in exchange for firearms. Firearms enthusiasts showed up with cash and signs to make purchases.

they will greet you with unlocked hand cuffs 100 for pistols and 150 for assualt rifles i just cant see this working at all i wouldnt even have ammo that id turn in under 100 bucks lol.good luck with this!!!

Gould be surprised. In FL, they do this every FEB. most times, they give you a pair of new shoes or a gas card. Last year, they collected over 2000 firearms. UNBELIEVABLE!!!

Sad part is that most of these guns are stolen from collectors and law abiding citizens who will never see them again. Drug users scoring a few bucks for their next high and killers destroying evidence that could be used to stop some of the "gun violence" the media is always crying about...

They label it "obstruction of justice", or interfering with law enforcement. Bunch of s$ if you ask me. They do notify people of recovered stolen guns, but somehow still melt them down.
