Over 21, you can be DRUNK in a car as long as you aint drivin.
It's not illegal!! It's frowned upon!! We would not have nearly as many problems if we all would act responsibly. Not taking a jab at anyone just sayin as Georgians and Americans.
Depends on the dickheadedness of the cop that sees you. You might be shot in Athens, especially if you were a football player.

Thanks Gents! I was just curious because I have been a little intoxicated as a passenger In my truck while my gun was in there. If a officer pulled us over, of course I would tell him a weapon was in the vehicle just didn't know if I could get thrown in the slammer for this.
The way I look at it is you can get robbed wheather you are sober or been drinking Its a good idea to carry all the time as long as your not being stupid keep your gun in your holster or in your pocket untill you really need it.
Think about what would happen if you shot someone that was trying to rob you if you had been drinking. It would get turned around on you. I don't carry if I am drinking. I just don't think guns and alchohol should be mixed.
