I'd stop by one day without the dog and have a chat, and try my best to see what the problem was. If hat doesn't work then start shooting......lol....good luck.

Im walking my leashed dog this morning in my neighborhood when some guy comes screaming out of his house to get my f’n dog off his grass or he will f me up. Me and my 90lb pitbull. I responded accordingly. Told me to tie my dog to a tree and lets go. I have about 60lbs of muscle on him. He then brandishes a gun on his hip and tells me he is going to shoot me and my dog! At this point i reach into my pocket and grip my lcp. He was still waving his hands at me. (Lesson yall, at that point I could have legally shot him, confirmed by police) Anyway i spit on the ground in his direction, he was about 25 feet away and said you are threatening to shoot me? He confirmed. I said F you and walked on. Second time he didnt get himself killed. So i brought my dog and gun home and drove back to my neighbors house and called the cops to press charges. Three of them went to his door. One rang the bell, the other two hung back at different shooting vectors. Only his wife was home. They spoke with him on the phone and asked for him to return. Then they asked me to leave and they will stop by after they speak with him. I signed a form pressing charges. F-er is lucky i didnt settle it myself. The cops stopped by an hour later and said “they wrote it up”. I said thank you, they left. Pondering it now they did not say they arrested him. Shoukd I go station?

No I would just let it go. If you piss this guy off more there's no telling what he's capable of. I would just steer clear of his property. Chances are though, the police probably handled the situation and you won't see anything of him again. Just do not let your dog take a dump in his yard that might provoke a bad situation.

Yeah I was highly suspicious of that as well. I don't think just because he showed you the firearm there's a legal foothold to shoot the man down. If he drew down on you then you might have. If your dog was hunched up and getting ready to drop off a brown trout on his lawn then that could have set him off.
