Thanks......and it is in very nice shape. I didnt even own a 1911 a few months ago but I stumbled on ridiculous deals on these that I just couldnt pass up. I thought I was a Hi Power guy, but I may have a new addiction.

Nice thread! Picked up my first, Ruger SR1911, no need to post a pic as other already have, but I will say I'm in LOVE with it.

When I buy another 1911 it will be a service model 4" length, or maybe a 9mm (if the price on 9mm ammo becomes "cheap" to shoot again!).
